The Butterfly Pavillion, in Westminster CO, is a wonderful place to take photographs. There are so my species of these amazing insects in a beautiful greenhouse where they fly freely around their guests. The tropical fauna and all the other interesting life that teems within this multifaceted exploratorium is truely remarkable.
They even have early morning photoshoot opportunites for dedicated shutterbugs; offered before the door open to the floods of miniature humans arrive by the busload.
The people in the background are two of my students, Gavin White and Tina Phenix.
